Devotions – The Promised Land

The Promised Land

Exodus 13:11 The Voice

The Eternal will lead you into the land He promised you and your
ancestors—the land where the Canaanites are now living.

Whenever I read about the promised land, I think about my destiny and your
destiny. God created each one of us to accomplish great things for His
Kingdom.

Some people feel there is no purpose for their lives, but that’s not true.
Ask God to reveal your purpose. Not only will He reveal it to you, He’ll
empower you to walk it out.

Father, please reveal my purpose. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Devotions – It Doesn’t Take Much

It Doesn’t Take Much

Proverbs 12:18 Good News Translation

Thoughtless words can wound as deeply as any sword, but wisely spoken words
can heal.

It doesn’t take much for our words to make an impact on people. A few
choice words can cut through the heart like a dagger. A few chosen words
can express the heart of God, and lift someone out of the depth of despair.

Our words build or destroy. What are you building? Be purposeful in
building others up. It very well may be that your words are what cause
someone to take that step they have feared to take. Your words may inspire
someone to go for their destiny, to try what seems impossible.

Let your words build up those around you.

Father, I want to build others up with my words. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Devotions – God’s Word

God’s Word

Deuteronomy 32:47 New Living Translation

“These instructions are not mere words — they are your life! By obeying
them you will enjoy a long life in the land you are crossing the Jordan
River to occupy.”

God’s Word prepares us and gives us the direction we need to enter into the
plans God has prepared for us. His Word lights the path, enabling us to see
the way. His Word teaches us and instructs us in the ways of wisdom beyond
natural comprehension.

By His Spirit, the Word comes to life in our hearts and empowers us to
accomplish great things for God.

Father, I will follow Your Word. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Devotions – God’s Success

God’s Success

1 Samuel 18:14 The Voice

David was successful in everything he did because the Eternal One was
present with him.

When we follow God’s leading; the outcome is success – God’s success. It
may look different than what we expect, but it will be greater success than
we can imagine.

God wants us to trust Him and follow His leading. He desires to lead us
into His plan of success.

Father, I will trust You and follow Your leading. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
