Choose Your Thoughts
Philippians 4:8 New Living Translation
And now, dear brothers and sisters, let me say one more thing as I close
this letter. Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right.
Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about
things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
Today ends another year. It’s time to reflect on our lives. What worked?
What didn’t work? What changes do we need to make?
Changes start in the mind. The exciting aspect of this is that we can
produce positive change by changing our thoughts. The best way to change
our thoughts is to line our thoughts up with God’s Word.
As we embrace truth, we will see it played out in our lives. Let’s prepare
ourselves for the year ahead by agreeing with God and thinking His
thoughts.
Father, I embrace Your Word and Your thoughts. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
