Devotions – Is He Becoming Greater In Your Life?

Is He Becoming Greater In Your Life?

John 3:30 New Living Translation

“He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.”

Think of yourself as a beautiful crystal vase. You’re beautiful and costly,
but your purpose is to display the beautiful contents.

We are to allow God’s glory to shine through our lives. Life isn’t about
us; it’s about Him. As He shines through us, many will be drawn to Him.

When our focus is on Him, He becomes greater in our lives. Allow His glory
to shine through you.

Father, I want to be transparent so that You will be glorified in my life.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Devotions – What Do You Want The Lord To Do For You?

What Do You Want The Lord To Do For You?

Luke 18:41 Amplified Bible

What do you want Me to do for you? He said, Lord, let me receive my sight!

What do you want the Lord to do for you? Have you asked Him?

Too many people refrain from asking God for things. Some feel that their
requests are too insignificant, or they shouldn’t ask. Some people feel
unworthy while others feel selfish. The reasons go on.

God wants you to ask. Ask for others and ask for yourself. It’s not selfish
when you ask for personal things. Ask Him for everything.

Ask for the salvation of every unsaved person you know. Ask for healing for
every sick person you know. Ask for more money. Ask for opportunities to
bless others. Ask. Ask. Ask. Then leave your requests with Him as You
continue to trust Him.

He delights in giving you the desires of your heart.

Father, I ask for:

Devotions – Be Still And Know

Be Still And Know

Psalm 46:10 New King James

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I
will be exalted in the earth!

Don’t we all know that God is great, all-powerful, mighty, and supreme?
Yet, we can run around trying to do all kinds of things, battle stress, and
wear ourselves out because we haven’t taken a moment to stop and take a
good look. We focus on our problems and all we are trying to accomplish,
etc.

Instead, we need to stop and focus on God – the One who is great,
all-powerful, mighty, and supreme. When we look at Him, everything else
fades in comparison. Mountains become specks in the presence of God.

As we commune with our loving Father, He gives us His perspective, which
empowers us to do what He has called us to do – with peace and joy.

Father, I will be still and know Your greatness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Devotions – Allow God’s Light in Your Life

Allow God’s Light in Your Life

Ephesians 5:14 The Message

Wake up from your sleep, Climb out of your coffins; Christ will show you
the light!

Is there an area of your life that is dead? Maybe it’s an area where you
have given up hope. Is there an area of sin in your life, buried so deep
that no one else knows?

God’s light exposes darkness, not to embarrass us, but to set us free.

Allow God to shine His light in your life to reveal the things that need to
change. He desires to set you free.

Father, shine Your light in my life that I may walk in greater freedom. In
Jesus’ name. Amen.
