Devotions – Forgiveness

Forgiveness

Job 42:10 New Living Translation

When Job prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes. In fact,
the LORD gave him twice as much as before!

Forgiving the sins, assaults, transgressions, attacks, and betrayals of
those who have hurt us, is the best choice we can make. The deepest level
of forgiveness enables us to pray – a prayer of love for them.

This level of forgiveness positions us to receive healing, restoration, and
blessing from God.

Father, I desire to walk in the deepest level of forgiveness. In Jesus’
name. Amen.

Devotions – Stand Strong

Stand Strong

Luke 11:10 The Voice

All who keep asking will receive, all who keep seeking will find, and doors
will open to those who keep knocking.

Too many people ask, don’t see results, and give up hope. Don’t do that!
Don’t walk away from your miracle! Keep standing until you see your answer.
Stand strong!

Father, I will stand strong. I believe You answer my prayers. In Jesus’
name. Amen.

Devotions – Ask In The Name Of Jesus

Ask In The Name Of Jesus

John 14:13 Good News Translation

And I will do whatever you ask for in my name, so that the Father’s glory
will be shown through the Son.

When we are one with Christ, we hold His desires in our heart. When we ask,
He moves with the intention to bring our requests to pass.

Ask! The answer may not end up looking like we expect it to look or in the
time frame we want it, but God is at work. We must ask, believe, and trust.
God will be glorified!

Father, I ask You for __________________. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Devotions – Don’t Make Excuses

Don’t Make Excuses

Luke 9:61 The Message

Then another said, “I’m ready to follow you, Master, but first excuse me
while I get things straightened out at home.”

This Scripture isn’t about not getting things in order, or saying goodbye
to people. It’s pointing to the problem of making excuses.

Have you made any excuses lately? Excuses are a dime a dozen.
Procrastination is a major problem today. What’s holding you back? What
fear is behind your excuses?

If God is leading you forward, what is holding you back?

It’s better to say, “I don’t want to do that” rather than make an excuse.
Take inventory. Check to see for hidden fears that are holding you back.

Father, please show me any fear that is holding me back. In Jesus’ name.
Amen.
