Are You Listening
1 Samuel 3:10 Amplified Bible
And the Lord came and stood and called as at other times, Samuel! Samuel!
Then Samuel answered, Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.
Did you know that God always has something to say to you? Are you
listening?
How often do we tune other people out? At times, we’re not focused.
Some people tune others out when they think they know what they are going
to say.
Tuning God out can be something we do without realizing it. Fear can cause
us to have that little wall go up in our minds. If we don’t hear, we don’t
have to obey. What a dangerous position. We sometimes put the wall up when
we don’t want to obey. Purpose in your heart to hear His voice and follow
His leading. You won’t be sorry.
Father, I will listen to what You want to say to me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
